Veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko has said he made the right decision voting for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Amid the ongoing current economic hardship and rising cost of living, Jide Kosoko said President Tinubu is “doing very well.”
While appearing as a guest on ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ with skitmaker, Bae U, he explained that fixing a battered economy takes time and people need to know that.
During the interview, the host asked, “People that voted for Tinubu do you think they should be bullied?”
He replied:
”That is their own business. Their own cup of tea. I am entitled to my opinion. I love the man I voted for. And I know he is doing well.
“He is doing well. If only you know how repairing things are, you will understand that he is doing very well.”
“I voted for him because I have known him for a long time. And I have seen quite a lot of his contributions to nation building.
“You cannot even talk about this present democracy that we are all enjoying without saying Tinubu’s name among the people that struggled for us to have it.”
His statement has however stirred reactions from netizens with many criticizing the thespian for mocking people’s suffering.
