Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said his team would need to hit the 114-point mark to win the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City.
The Gunners have finished runners-up behind City for the last two seasons.
In the 2022/2023 season, Pep Guardiola’s men won by a five-point gap. But in 2023/2024, Arsenal cut it down to two.
Arteta has now claimed his side would need perfection to be able to topple the champions.
When Arteta was asked what it would take to beat City to the title, he said:
“114 points. If we do that, we win the league for sure.
“This is the objective, from there we’ll see what we get. Earn the right to win it and have the biggest probability over the opponent.
“When we have difficulties that we are still better than the opponents. That’s really the objective.”
