Popular Nigerian rapper and singer, Olamide has cautioned fans and followers about his recent body of work, “IKIGAI.”
The superstar music star urged fans not to refer to the project as an album, stating that it is actually an extended play (EP).
The 7-track EP, “IKIGAI,” a Japanese phrase meaning “a reason to living”, demonstrates Olamide’s understanding of the Nigerian music industry.
Taking to the micro blogging platform, X, Olamide, spoke out and emphasizes the value of attention to detail in the music industry, by correcting the notion that his project is an EP not an album.
The project features collaborations with talented musicians such as Fireboy DML, Asake, SABRI, Pheelz, Young Jonn, and Lil Kesh, showcasing Olamide’s ability to blend different sounds and create something new.
