Popular Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo has discussed a confrontation between him and his father, Adebayo Salami, better known as Oga Bello on a movie set.
During a recent interview, the ‘Jagun Jagun’ actor recounted an incident on the set of the 2008 film ‘Taiwo Taiwo’ where he slapped his father.
While filming a scene where he played an infamous armed robber, Adebayo was directed to break into a man’s residence to rob his father.
When his father refused to hand over the money, Femi slapped his father.
He, however, admitted that the slap was not part of the script and explained that he was trying to enhance his portrayal of the character.
Femi revealed that he apologized to his father, who to his surprise praised him and said that if he hadn’t hit him, he would have been in trouble.
