Popular Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has lamented the current economic situation in Nigeria.
Taking to his Instagram page, the veteran Yoruba actor who supported president Tinubu during the 2023 election raised questioned the effectiveness of price control and regulatory agencies in the country, seeking clarification on measures to reduce the impact of inflation
Saidi Balogun state the need to address the rising prices impacting individuals and businesses in the country, noting that the situation is getting out of control.
He wrote:
“Do we have a functional price control or piece regulatory agency in Nigeria?
How do we cushion the effects of inflation?
Because things are getting out of hand.”
