This is the moment a man who was kidnapped by herdsmen returned to his family with tales of his ordeal.
The man, identified as Mr Anene, was kidnapped at his work site on March 16. He was taken alongside others.
Afterwards, the kidnappers demanded N15 million from his family.
Fortunately, on Thursday, March 19, he returned home on his own. He was limping as his loved ones and neighbours came out to welcome him home. Two men had to support him on both sides and he winced in pain as he walked.
“Sister, my husband is back. My husband is back. Thank you Jesus,” the man’s wife is heard excitedly announcing to someone over the phone.
The man then stated that three more victims remained in the hideout when he escaped, including a woman who was kidnapped with him.
It is alleged that the herdsmen have been subjecting the woman to s£xual abuse.
